Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
This Cabernet blend is perfect for this summer’s BBQ season. Ripe
blackberry and raspberry fruit flavors, with a hint of clove and black
cardamom.
Vineyard Notes
The fruit from this flavorful and beautiful Cabernet blend came from a
small estate located in Linden and in the Lodi wine appellation. Ruby
red in color foreshadows the intense flavors the region produces.
The Linden and Lodi lay at the Sierra foothills which have soils with
substantial amounts of fist-size rocks that are the result of gold
mining from the previous century. These rocks are heat retentive
and assist in the ripening process. They are reminiscent of the
Chateauneauf du Pape in France’s Rhone Valley.
Food Pairing Notes
Rich mouthfeel, great balance, and excellent with all kinds of grilled or smoked meats. It is an excellent food pairing wine.
