Vaché "1832" 2015 Pinot Noir

Elegant ruby-red, with expressive aromas of blackberry and black cherry. Deep flavors of summer raspberries, cinnamon, and cedar. It is perfectly balanced with refreshing acidity, plush weight on the mid-palate, and a wonderfully supple texture. The expansive fruit flavors carry through to a long, pure, and persistent finish. Visually bright and stunning with rich mouthfeel, amazing legs, and fantastic balance. Single barrel production.

Premium Reserve, Single Barrel, Anderson Valley.

The Anderson Valley AVA (American Viticultural Area) is centered on the Anderson Valley in Mendocino County,
California. It is known primarily for its Pinot Noir and sparkling wine production. Lying 10 to 15 miles (16 to 24 km) from the Pacific Ocean, the AVA is prone to a wide diurnal temperature variation of between 40 to 50°F (22 to 28°C). The valley frequently has long Indian summers. Cutting laterally through the coastal range rather than lying between ridges, the west, or “deep end” of the Anderson Valley is only a few miles from the cold Pacific Ocean.

Savor with grilled fish, turkey, chicken, pork, or pasta. 19 months in 60% medium toast new French oak and only 31 cases produced.
